About me
After seven years of using psychology to help professionals thrive at work, I began to feel a deeper calling to use my skills to make a bigger difference by supporting people to live healthier and more fulfilling lives.
That desire led me to pursue a Health Psychology Master’s in 2024; a field that uses psychological principles to prevent and manage illness, and empower people to take control of their health.
Through my studies, it became clear that the South Asian community faces significant health inequalities, with higher risks of conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and stress-related illness. Yet these challenges are often worsened by cultural expectations and language barriers.
As a South Asian, I recognised that this wasn’t just a professional interest, it was personal to me. Many of us struggle to navigate our health while juggling family life, cultural pressures, and busy routines. However, I knew that with the right support, so much positive change was possible.
That is why I founded SehatSpark; a wellbeing service built on science, cultural understanding, and genuine care. My mission is to help South Asians feel empowered in their health journey, whether it’s eating better, moving more or reducing stress;.
